Glug event live drawingGlug event live drawing

May 2012 Glug live drawing
The nice people who organise the London Glug (a regular after-work creative drinks and Notworking event for designers, creatives, clients and friends) invited me to do some live drawing at their ‘Beautiful Summer’ event at Cargo in Shoreditch. I thought it’d be fun to try creating a movie poster on the night, and what kind of movie poster could be more fun to draw than a kung fu classic, Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow?

It was very flattering of the boys (and girls) at Raw in Manchester to invite me to contribute to Raw 5, an exhibition featuring work by some of their favourite illustrators and designers, in order to celebrate their first five years. Well-known faces from the worlds of sport, art, design, fashion, music and entertainment including Tracey Emin, Jamie Oliver, Mike Leigh, Roger Daltry and Wayne Rooney (er, and me!) were asked to create a piece for the exhibition and accompanying auction on a small canvas.
